Christmas Cheer

My twins are 4 years old, and so far this is the most magical age for all things Christmas. We are just getting started with all the Christmas festivities. Cookie baking will be done as soon as I do my grocery store run. We have our tickets reserved to go walk through the festival of lights at Brook Side Gardens. We will probably go through the Sandy Point Drive thru Light festival too. We have been watching Christmas movies since November, and of course, we visited Santa. Actually, this year, Santa visited us a few weeks early. This is the first year I was able to do some inside Santa Sessions in addition to my outdoor set. I wanted them to be classic. One comment I received was “they are like a Norman Rockwell Painting”, and thank you, that is exactly the feel I wanted to have. Classic, traditional, and full of all the warm fuzzy feelings the old Santa pictures give.

I love doing both the more casual outdoor sessions as well. They have more energy and must feel like just hanging out with your favorite celebrity. And of course, I always try to sneak family time in outdoor sessions as well!

But what these two sessions both have in common is Christmas magic and more importantly, give your child a chance to feel special, and loved by someone who is near and dear to all our hearts. Next year, I hope to up my game and offer two different sets inside, and I am always on the lookout for an exceptional location or two outside. Thank you to everyone who participated, and visited Santa and me. We can’t wait to see you next year!
