Few moments in our childhood stand out as magical as Christmas. There is something so special about warm rooms when it is cold outside, twinkle lights on the tree and around the neighborhood, warm cookies from the oven, and of course Santa. I have been hosting Annapolis Santa Sessions for four years. Each year, with this magical friend of mine, Santa, and each year, being able to offer more opportunities for children to be able to not only have a moment with Santa, but also be able to have a real connection with the Jolly man himself. This year, I was able to have Santa come by my studio in Kent Island, Maryland and really just play with  my kids. We are talking core memories here. This Santa Experience, included a game or 5 or Rocks, Paper, Scissors, sneaking up on Santa while he was taking a little nap, eating cookies with Santa, and of course, checking the Nice List to make sure their names were there. I made a little video below of what I am offering this year for Annapolis Santa photo sessions.

                                                                                                    Studio Annapolis Santa Sessions

My studio Santa photo sessions are in my Kent Island Photography Studio, off of Love Point Road. I have two Santa Session options. First you can do a 5 minute Christmas mini Santa Session. This session comes with two photos of your children with Santa. You can do a lot in 5 minutes, and even the young ones who aren’t too sure what to think of Santa, usually get a priceless photo or two with Santa.

The second Studio Santa Session is 10 minutes, and really is a magical Santa Experience. Think cookies and milk, playing games, visiting Santa in her toy room, and just having a wonderful time. My kids are 5 years old. They are full of love and wonder for this beautiful soul that comes to visit us once a year. And every time I watch the promotional Santa Session video I made with them, it warms my heart and brings a smile to my face.

Outdoor Annapolis Santa Photo Session

I am also offering two types of Annapolis Santa Sessions outdoors in two different locations.  The first location for my Santa Sessions is a picturesque Christmas tree farm in North Beach, Maryland, http://friendshiptrees.com/. These Christmas mini sessions are  just south of Annapolis. I love this farm. I will have their vintage truck available for those who would like to use it. If you prefer just the Tree Farm that is great too!! When I lived in North Beach my family and I would cut our Christmas tree from there, and were sure to stop into the cute Christmas shop to get a wreath and ornaments. You can have either a 10 minute Christmas mini Santa session or you can have a 30 minute family session that happens to have a meet and greet with Santa at the end! I know it is hard to get kids and sometimes spouses ready for Christmas family photos, or really family photos in general. It is a lot easier, when you tell them they are going to be able to spend time with Santa, and let him know what is on their Christmas list!

Our second location for our Annapolis Santa photo session is on the Historic Mattapeake Clubhouse at Kent Island. This Santa Session also allows for the option of 10 minute sessions or 30 minute sessions. As always, I try to include family photos without Santa, so come picture ready!
